![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When I first formed the Deccan empire there was naturally a lot of vassal strife and factionalism but I waited for rebellions/treason of the non-dynasty kings so that I could revoke their main titles/vassals without penalty (same as you always can with Iqta) and regrant them to my relatives who would then be leige-lord over whatever realms the trouble-makers had left after I revoked their top titles and made them vassals of my dynasty viceroys. I've never had an empire as large as you are playing with but my most stable and largest realm was all of India, Persia and some steppe kingdoms where I used Imperial administration + Jainism for stability bonuses while granting 1-2 viceroy kingdom titles exclusively to superduke members of my own dyansty or its cadet houses who were landed generally along de jure lines to avoid the vassal on vassal hate and infighting you describe.
